About the play: Based on the independent American film from the early 80s, My Dinner with Andre, this theatrical play Pizza with Krešo delves into the themes of the meaning of life and our aspirations in the pursuit of individual happiness. Two people, who belong to the intellectual elite of our contemporary society, present their views on life on the 'intellectual autopsy table' in a neighborhood pizzeria. However, perhaps it is not ideological views they seek, but rather the right and properly posed questions about the nature of the human being and its place in the universe. In this theatrical piece with three characters, there will undoubtedly be many such questions, and they will strike precisely where needed, provoking a reaction in the audience—one that is necessary in this 21st century of geopolitical, political, economic, moral and ethical, religious, and spiritual upheavals—to better prepare for what is yet to come...
