Mali Bembo - theater play "STONOGA GOGA"

14.08.2024. - 21:00

THEATER POCO LOCO, Zagreb
Andrijana Grgičević
"STONOGA GOGA"

Directed by: Renata Carola Gatica
Played by: Tena Pataky, Maja Katić i Filip Sever

About the play: Where do ladybugs sleep? What does Stinky Martin sell? Who is the queen of insects? How does the butterfly lull the baby cocoons to sleep? Why don't ants have time? Watch The Centipede Goga and you will find out all of this, as well as other important information about small forest creatures. The actors of Teatar Poco Loco perform this educational story with plenty of music (singing and playing live), and the impression is completed by richly illustrated scenery that takes us into the most secret parts of the forest.

The text The Centipede Goga, awarded at the 9th edition of the Mali Marulić festival, tells the story of Goga, a fashion addict who chooses a different shoe for each leg. She enjoys flip-flops, high heels, boots, and slippers until an encounter with a hungry bird makes her reconsider. Shoes are scattered all over the forest, and Goga is in big trouble! In the tense search for her treasure, she realizes that friends, helping others, and empathy are more valuable than any shoe. Who would have thought that the miser from the beginning of the story would end up singing a completely different tune:

'...I'm done with fashion
I give away all my shoes in the name of freedom
Here they are for you, if someone needs them
Let them take shelter from the rainy sky.
Everything I have, I want to share
I want to bring joy to my friends.'
